La Festa Brick & Brew Pizzaria in Dover, NH for a couple mug pours, a big garlic knot & a slice of both pepperoni & buffalo chicken pizza. I had never heard of this place before this visit, but was very happy with the recommendation since everything was excellent & well priced from what I can remember. When you walk in to order there is a giant constantly rotating pizza bar where you choose what you would like. I couldn't see all the pizzas, but there was a ton of options. As far as the beer options go it wasn't crazy, but they had some good stuff going on. I grabbed a couple mugs of the PUNKIN ALE Yam by Dogfish Head to check that off my list. As far as pumpkin beer goes this was a above average offering. Plenty of seating options from what I saw between tables & hightops. The wait for both the pizza & beer wasn't long at all with the service being excellent to. I'd definitely stop by again if I was in the area, what a fun spot. #craftbeer #supportlocal #beerstagram #BeerGoals #untappd #NewHampshire #newengland #newhampshireeats #pizza
It's an order by the slice pizza place. You get fountain drinks which is extremely rare up here. The pizza slices aren't amazing in the grand scheme of things but aren't bad. Better than most stuff up here and worth about a 25 minute drive. The garlic knots are good and better than most of the ones I've had up here but not mind blowing. It's definitely a top tier restaurant for the area but in the pizza world it's pretty standard. I had a pepperoni and cheese slice. I will be back and try some other slices. Great place to stop by for lunch because you can get two slices, two knots, and a fountain drink for like 13.
I ordered a 12-inch pizza with tomatoes and peppers, and they added the oil with basil. The pizza was full of flavor, and the crust was superb. Normally, I would have eaten 1/2, but I couldn't help myself. I ate the whole thing
Fantastic food, fast service. The ordering process is a little bit confusing, so you need to really pay attention. There are three lines you can join at the counter - one is specifically for people who want single slices, one is for people who want to order off the menu, and one is for paying the bill. Once you choose your table, the staff bring your order to you, and you can dig in. Amazing pizza, with a huge variety of topping options. The crust has a perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft once you bite into it. Unusually for this part of Dover, la Festa has its own parking area behind the restaurant - most places around here rely on street parking. Overall, this is a great restaurant, with amazing food, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff. Definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't already done so.
Casual place, great for kids/families. It order-at-the-counter, but there is tons of seating. Lots of slices ready to go to pick from. Great pizza. Very fair pricing. Highly recommend! Especially if you are into carbs. Weirdly dim lighting in the main dining room, but it didn't bother me.
Meatball sub awesome!! Staff very friendly. They bring you the food fast and hot. Can not wait try there pizza.
The pizzas here are always terrific whether you pick slices or get a pie to go. The crust is hand tossed, the toppings are in interesting combinations like the “Greenie,” “Blair Witch” “Amici” “Shrimp Scampi” or a classic cheese or pepperoni. There is something here for everyone vegetarian or meat eaters. I understand they have now added a gluten free option. They also have a good selection of beers on tap, soft drinks or a few wines. I always make a point of going here when I’m in the area.
I'm writing this from a takeout perspective on a Friday night, but the chicken carbonara pizza was delicious and the 18" size was huge. My family of four could barely finish it. Place was busy, but the "by the slice" line seemed to be moving quickly.
